And, despite the fact that the Prius is an overall charmer, winning customers’ hearts with the greatest fuel-efficiency ever, along with an affordable price and big safety precautions, the looks of the brand have been the main focus for the negative comments and critical notes.

Well, guys, we’re in luck, because the 2016 Toyota Prius Redesign is on its way – there’re gonna be some changes to the design, and that includes exterior and interior. And also you can look at the Toyota Prius 2015 review.

Back In The Saddle
When the Prius first came around it was the only hybrid which managed to sell big worldwide, and it was also one of the most reliable vehicles of its time. Since then Toyota has sold about 8.000.000 hybrids all around the world.
A lot has changed since then, and there are a lot of rivals on the market these days, which threaten the brand’s standings in the automobile industry. So, that’s why the 2016 Toyota Prius Redesign is a long-awaited guest. The Japanese believe it’s gonna bring the brand back on top spot, and make it not only a fuel-efficient and fairly-priced car, but also add some edge and coolness to the looks. Well, if the Japanese believe it, that means we have to believe it too, right?
2016 Toyota Prius Redesign – What To Expect
So, with the 2016 Toyota Prius Redesign Toyota plans to do a complete remake of the current model – only a couple of the old details will be included in the brand-new edition. Also, the 2016 Prius will be the first car for Toyota which will get the new GA (Global Architecture). It is rumored to be lighter (at least 150 pounds lighter), stronger, and more reliable.
Experts predict this new architecture to be incorporated in all the future Toyota brands. But, for now, only the Prius is gonna get it. It is known that it will even use aluminum for extreme weight loss. This will give the new Prius hybrid even more fuel-efficiency, as well as some bonuses to performance.
The Engine And The Design
The engine of 2016 Toyota Prius is gonna be a 1.8-lit Atkinson cycle one. The electric motor will be smaller than before. And that will give the redesigned 2016 Prius hybrid the ability to consume even less fuel (yep, that’s possible). The combined power of the vehicle is expected to be the same as on the previous model – around 140HP.
The 2016 Toyota Prius interior is gonna be as comfortable and high-quality as before, but with additional style and edge. The approach is said to be more minimalistic. Even the basic trim level will be packed with a 9-to-11 inch display, which will give the driver satellite navigation, a live feed of the electric system working, and even the ability to surf around the web. The Prius Redesign is also gonna affect the exterior.
Unfortunately, there’s not much information on the matter, but the early press releases suggest that this Toyota hybrid is gonna be a lot like the current model, but with a better design, which will allow it to have a bigger trunk and more comfortable seats.

The fourth generation of Toyota Prius makes a combined 121 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque from a 1.8-liter VVT-i engine paired with an electric motor and new lithium-ion battery. The standard Prius hybrid will achieve 54 mpg in the city while the Prius hybrid “Eco” will get 58 mpg in the city.
