Toyota Camry is the greatest, most respected and most popular vehicle in the United States. That’s right – y’all know it better than me.

It’s a classic four-door sedan with a “family-friendly” look and exceptional attention to details, reliability, safety, and affordability. It might not be the best at tech and speed, but that’s not really important when it comes down to picking the right car for your family.

If you want techy, you can go with Toyota’s own RAV4, Land Cruiser, Avalon, the upcoming 2017 Corolla, etc. When you’re in the market for a low-priced family ride all you need to do is take a look at the legendary Toyota sedan and the choice will become obvious. And if you already own a Camry car (any model, really), then you know first-hand what it’s like to drive the best-selling vehicle in America. Feels good, doesn’t it? Want to know details about 2015 Toyota Camry?

Hard Out Here For A King

Hard Out Here For A King - 2015 Toyota Camry

However, as the automobile industry is becoming bigger, better and over-crowed with countless brands and models, the “family” aspect alone couldn’t really cut it anymore. So, that’s why Toyota decided to invest some significant bucks and turn their golden pony into an all-around amazing and contemporary ride. These days Camry is not what it used to be 5-10 years ago: the exterior looks and feels more like it’s a sports car – not a family ride – the interior is rich with high-quality materials and all the latest technological features and safety equipment. By the way, when it comes to feature-packed Toyota cars 2015 is probably the most impressive year – I guess the corporate heads at the company decided it’s time for innovation. Take a look at the 2015 Toyota Camry pictures and pay extra attention to the interior – looks good, don’t you agree?

The powertrain doesn’t make any wonders happen, but it’s still pretty solid and fuel-efficient, not to say really impressive in terms of horsepower. So, even if you’re flying solo and just want a modern-day car with all the contemporary features and a fair price tag, then the Toyota Camry is still a very handsome pick.

Today we’ll talk about the 2015 Toyota Camry, the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid, the various trim levels – LE, XLE, XSE – the 2016 edition, as well as colors, specs – HP, MPG, techy stuff – release dates, Camry for sale, etc.

Buckle up and let’s dive into the world of Toyota Camry – the absolute king of sedans.

2015 Toyota Camry

Alright, let’s have a quick-but-solid 2015 Toyota Camry review. What can I say about the 2015 edition?

Well, first of all, it’s been a while since Toyota introduced something really new to the brand in terms of style, and this year they finally decided to cash in and give the Camry a serious exterior upgrade that immediately separates it from all the previous editions.

As for the powertrain, it’s approximately the same, but that’s not the selling point of a family sedan – never been. But looks – they certainly do kill, you know? These radical changes in styling are a result of heavy rivalry rising up, if you ask me.

Toyota is known for their “lazy but crazy” approach: they don’t really like changing their brands unless there is a really strong need. Blame it on the Asian mentality, if you like. Actually, I’m not sure that I myself would’ve changed anything if my sedan was doing so great on the market! But, since the competition is very steep these days, the Japanese just had to act quickly. I’m talking about Ford Focus, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, etc. If you take a look at various 2015 car reviews, you’ll most definitely see those brands on the top spots.

I gotta say that Camry went through a complete overhaul 3 years ago, so, another major upgrade today is a clear sign of heavy competition breathing down its neck. And that’s a win-win for us – the customers. Let the major companies rival and go to extreme measures to please the consumers – low pricing, greater tech savvy, more MPG, HP, and other great stuff :)

So, back to the looks: the 2015 edition has an in-your-face, bold and aggressive front grille with angular headlights and a little bit of stylish chrome. If you haven’t been keeping a sharp eye on the latest developments from Toyota, then you could easily mistake the 2015 model for a completely new brand. This new edition has a lot of personality – in a very good way. Family and safety come first, I know, but don’t tell me you don’t want a little bit of style and swagga with that! Exactly! Toyota knows their fan-base very well and with the cool-looking LED fog lamps and headlights, as well as chromy details that’s exactly what you’ll get – beauty and style.

As for the 2015 Toyota Camry colors, they’ve got plenty, trust me.

The Japanese are known to be very good with colors (just watch one of their color shows on YouTube), so, it’s not a big surprise. We’ve got: Attitude Black, Celestial Silver Metallic, Cosmic Gray Mica, Creme Brulee Mica (that’s Beige) Parisian Night Pearl (Blue, that is), Predawn Gray Mica, Ruby Flare Pearl (who said Red?), and finally Super White (yep, you guessed it – White). Those are the exterior colors. For interior you can go with Almond (Beige), Ash (a stylish shade of grey) and Black. Yeah, as you can see, it’s a color-fest, and everyone will find a perfect paint to match their lifestyle and need. Just take another look at the 2015 Toyota Camry photos and you’ll get the picture; a thousand words won’t beat one peek, right?

Your Own Personal Comfort Zone

It’s a well-known fact that Toyota Camry models always provide top-notch comfort and quality when it comes to interior. The 2015 edition is no exception. I don’t wanna get into too many details here, because I’ve talked about the amazing atmosphere and vibe of the Camry interior (check out my reviews). For now let’s just say that all the major rivals – Accord, Altima and Focus – can’t really provide that same level of “hospitality” and versatility as the legendary Toyota Camry. The 2015 edition, in turn, offers greater material quality, more techy features, a super user-friendly 4.2-inch screen, and improved sound deadening.

Let’s take our 2015 Camry review a bit further and talk about what’s under the hood of this bad boy – the powertrain. Actually, no, let’s dial it back a bit and talk about the platform. First of all, y’all should know that the 2015 Toyota Camry has a perfected chassis.

The new model’s track is widened by about 0, 5 inches, which allows to improve stability; as for the suspension, it’s pretty much the same as before, but still, steering is improved, so the ride will be very smooth and noise-free. The engineers also did some work on the brakes, and overall the 2015 Toyota Camry is 1.8 inches longer than the 2014 model. Ok, that’s it for the Toyota Camry specs. Now let’s talk about the HP, MPG and everything in-between, because a Toyota Camry 2015 review would not be complete (and fun) if we don’t talk about horsepower!

Under The Hood – Toyota Camry 2015 engine

Under The Hood - 2015 Toyota Camry engine

So, in terms of engine might and miles per gallon the Toyota Camry 2015 model is pretty much the same as the last year’s edition. Hey, I told you Toyota likes to stick with tried and true :) Basic-level models – like the 2015 Toyota Camry LE – come packed with the same old 2.5-lit 4-cyl engine, capable of 178 Horsepower and 170 pound feet of torque.

If you’re hungry for power, check out the optional 3.5-lit V6 engine, which is good for 268HP and 248 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. As for the Toyota Camry MPG 2015 isn’t much of a step forward, as you’ll get the same 35 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city with the 4-cylinder, and 30 mpg hwy/21 mpg city with the mightier V6. Both EPA ratings, by the way, are top-of-the-line for a four-door family sedan. All in all, the Toyota Camry 2015 specs look pretty solid, even though the powertrain is basically the same as last year.

2015 Toyota Camry Release Date

2015 Toyota Camry photo

If you, by any chance, are wondering about the 2015 Toyota Camry release date, then you must be a little bit behind the current events in the industry, because it’s already out. Yep, the 2015 Camry is available right now – in the dealership(s) near you. As I mentioned in the beginning, Toyota Camry is an exceptional contemporary sedan. And, as the 2015 edition is packed with all the latest techy stuff, it’s also pretty up-to-date.

As for the 2015 Toyota Camry price, this brand is still one of the most affordable ones on the market. The price tag starts at about 24K (25K+ with MSRP). The highest trim levels will cost you 33K max. That’s the average cost of 2015 Toyota Camry. Depending on the powertrain, the additional features and safety equipment that price will, obviously, vary, so, that’s just a min-max price range for you to think on.

2015 Toyota Camry XSE

2015 Toyota Camry XSE photo

Alright, let’s move up the ladder and talk about the highest trim levels, starting with the 2015 Toyota Camry XSE.

It’s a completely new trim for the Camry, and it definitely does have some features to brag out, including a fancy-looking front grille, LED headlights, 18-inch wheels (those look especially cool), and an improved suspension with better springs, unique shocks and steering tuning. Check out the 2015 Camry pictures – I’ve got a bunch of them in this article. On the inside, we’ve got sporty seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel. Yep, a small touch of luxury in the Camry – can you believe that? Even though XSE is the highest trim level, you can still equip it with the good-old 4-cyl engine; but I don’t recommend that, because there’s really no point in paying for the expensive trim only to get stuck with a mediocre engine. Grab the V6, and you’ll have the complete picture. With 268 HP this beast can give you the ride of your life.

All in all, the XSE is arguably the best Toyota car 2015 can offer.

Feature-Packed And Ready To Rumble

Feature-Packed And Ready To Rumble - 2015 Toyota Camry

Furthermore, the 2015 Toyota Camry XSE has the best steering – and not only among the various Camry editions, but probably also among the best sedans on the market.

It’s great in the corners, the body of the car is very “intuitive”, if you know what I mean, and the brakes are exceptional. Overall, the XSE is a can’t-go-wrong pick if you want to go low-budget, but still have some money saved for a little bit of extra luxury. That’s Camry’s strongest selling point: it’s solid all-around, and that’s exactly what folks want these days. If you follow my advice and go with the V6-powered edition of the XSE you’ll also get heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, HD satellite radio, a noise-reducing windshield, a 7-inch display for the Entune system, a navigation system, keyless ignition and entry, and a couple of other great features.

2015 Toyota Camry XLE

2015 Toyota Camry XLE photo

You’ll get pretty much the same package if you go with the 2015 Toyota Camry XLE. This trim has been around for a while, and it provides a smoother ride as compared to the XSE, with comfort-oriented suspension. Plus, XLE offers full leather upholstery and 17-inch wheels. However, you won’t get the stylish sporty looks – it’s more of a classic Camry look, and some people even like it more, so, it’s a matter of personal taste. Powertrain-wise the two trims are identical – no champs here. The 2015 Toyota Camry XLE V6 is still a great pick, if you ask me.

In terms of safety XLE is the obviously better choice. Both editions offer blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear-cross traffic alert, a pre-collision system and adaptive cruise control as optional features. Pretty impressive, right? Well, the XLE takes it one step further with the optional Safety Connect package that provides advanced safety equipment, such as automatic collision notification, an emergency assist button and a stolen-vehicle locator. It’s not that this tech is crucial to everybody on the road, but if you put safety first (especially if you have little kids in the back) and have some extra money, then you should really consider this package.

As for the 2015 Toyota Camry price, both XSE and XLE cost almost the same – 35-36K with all the features, safety equipment and the V6.

By the way, if you don’t have that kind of money on your account, but still want to drive a Camry, consider the various 2015 Toyota Camry lease options. Toyota dealerships offer some amazing lease programs that will score you a pretty great deal. Just visit your local dealer and ask around. Alright, that’s it for the standard Toyota Camry 2015 model. Let’s move on to the hybrid edition.

2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid

2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid

2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid photo

Despite the false belief, going green doesn’t necessarily mean going small and cheap. The 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid manages to mate all of the great features from the standard edition – durability, safety, affordable pricing, and great cargo space – with a very fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain. And that’s why the Camry hybrid is such a popular choice among common folks. It needs to be said that the situation on the market of hybrid cars is similar to what’s going on in the “big boys club”. Toyota’s reign in the hybrid segment is being seriously challenged by Ford, Honda and Hyundai.

Still, the 2015 Camry Hybrid is the best offer on the market, as no other brand can provide that same level of safety and reliability.

Plus, this year we’ve got some pretty nice updates, including a new approach to styling, an enlarged interior, improved steering, and new trim levels. The pricing is fair, although rivals offer a slightly better deal (you can get the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid for 27,5K; the highest trims will cost you about 31-32K). As for the powertrain, Toyota offers only one engine – a 2.5-lit 4-cyl, capable of 200HP and paired to a CVT transmission. The standard-level LE trim returns 39 mpg hwy/43 mpg city, while the higher models – SE and XLE – are good for 38/40.

Finally, let’s take a look at the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid Colors. Actually, there’s not a lot to talk about, as the color choice between the standard and the Hybrid editions is identical. Toyota has picked up some very appealing colors for their award-winning sedan, ranging from happy and mild to aggressive and bold. What’s your favorite one?

2015 Toyota Camry For Sale

2015 Toyota Camry For Sale

Have you ever owned a used 2015 Toyota Camry? I haven’t. At first I even though they don’t exist, because the 2015 edition was out just a couple of month ago. However, folks all over the web are putting out countless offers on all kinds of sale/resale sites. So, if you’re looking for a used Toyota Camry for sale, just type that into your favorite search engine and try to sort through tons of options. Or, you could save yourself a lot of time and frustration by dealing with folks only from well-known and well-respected web-sites, such as KBB.com (Kelley Blue Book), Cargurus.com, Carsforsale.com, etc.

If you’re not new to buying/selling pre-owned vehicles, then I’m sure you’re more than familiar with these sites. Carsforsale is one of my favorite ones, and right now you can buy a 2015 Toyota Camry LE for just under 16K or a 2015 Toyota Camry XSE for a bit more than 21K. And the great thing about this site is they are posting offers mostly from legitimate dealerships, so, you won’t run into any troubles with bad condition, crazy owner or a completely different price tag once your arrive. An average used Toyota Camry 2015 price is somewhere between 14-25K. You won’t find anything lower from legitimate sellers. Maybe if you go for the 2014 or the 2013 models, but not the 2015 edition. Keep that in mind and don’t let a low price fool you. There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch, you know?

2016 Toyota Camry

2016 Toyota Camry photo

The 2016 edition is practically the same as the 2015 model. The only truly new thing is the introduction of the Special Edition trim level that’s based on the existing SE, which offers new features, such as smoked taillights, blue interior accents (they look reeeeeally cool), and a sportier gauge cluster. And without all that fancy stuff the 2016 Toyota Camry is still a great sedan to drive, with a roomy interior, noise-free and comfortable ride, lots of standard-level features, great powertrain capabilities (V6 is still available), and much more. The latest model will cost you around 24-31K, so, no significant changes in pricing. HP and MPG is the same as one year ago; technological features and safety equipment are – you guessed it – identical to what was available with the 2015 edition. So, there’s nothing more to tell – the 2016 edition has – essentially – nothing new to offer, but, after a major redesign in 2012 and a serious upgrade in 2015, nobody really expected Toyota to roll out something completely new. Check out my review on 2016 Toyota Camry to find out more.

2017 Toyota Camry

2017 Toyota Camry photo

2017 Toyota Camry photo

To be honest, I don’t really have any officially confirmed information about the 2017 edition. Nobody does. There certainly are a lot of folks who spread rumors and speculations, and then there are people who believe all that Bs. Well, we’re not those kinds of people, right? And you all know the deal with Japanese manufacturers: they rarely ever share any serious details about their future models unless it’s a part of a marketing plan. Did you know much about the 2015 edition before it was almost out? Or the 2016 model?

Toyota shares official specs and details only a couple of month before the actual release date. Me, I personally don’t think that the company is cooking up another major overhaul for the Camry, ’cause that would just be too much. There’s some talk around the world that – allegedly – a completely new platform is being developed for the 2017 edition.

Toyota officials have confirmed that info just recently, saying that it’s a brand-new NGA modular architecture. Still no details on the actual benefits of this fancy new platform. So, I’m a bit skeptical about that; but I’m certain they’ll add in a lot of the latest techy features and maybe work on the design a little bit to keep up with the competition.

The price, I believe, will be almost identical to the 2016 edition, and, overall, the 2017 Toyota Camry is gonna be another great model from Toyota. Let’s not speculate further, OK? If you’ve got some hard-and-true info on the 2017 Camry (or 2015 and 2016), please, share links or the actual details in the comments section – I’ll appreciate that!
